Epimedium/Horny Goat Weed

Also known as: EbM, horny goat weed, Epimedium grandiflorum

Epimedium is commonly known as horny goat weed due to its folk origins as a Chinese goat herder watched his goats consume the plant and become excited. In China, the plant leaves are usually combined with other ingredients in what is called a yang tonic. Its traditional uses include promoting muscle, bone, liver, kidney and cognitive function.

Epimedium has also been used to enhance sexual function. Today, the herb is taken widely in both Eastern and Western cultures.

Experts have suggested that Epimedium may improve sexual performance and contribute to a better quality of life in those with renal failure. Epimedium appears to address erectile function and libido. Clinical studies currently support these claims.

"I am more confident in love making . . ."
