Eliminating Soda Pop is the third step towards Natural Weight loss and Health. There really isn’t anything good about Soda Pop. Soda Pop is full of sugar, caffeine and calories. Cutting that out can be very challenging especially if the soda pop’s you are use to drinking have caffeine because caffeine is very addictive.
Starting Small
It can be very hard to cut soda pop out of your life so I suggest starting small. On average, a person drinks 3 to 4 soda drinks a day. If you start by limiting yourself to 1 to 2 soda drinks a day you can slowly work your way completely away from it.
What you Should be Drinking
Water, Water, Water! Water is the most important and beneficial thing you can be drinking. They always say you should drink 8 glasses of water a day. If each glass of water you drink is 8oz, that means you should have around 64oz of water a day. I recommend buying a water bottle that shows your ounces on it so you can keep track everyday. Especially if you are working out, it is important to keep yourself hydrated. This is essential for natural weight loss.
Apple juice, cranberry juice, grapefruit juice, and orange juice that are all natural and sugar free are good for you as well. It just depends on your choice in juice. You don’t want to completely replace all of your soda pop drinks with juice because it isn’t as good for weight loss as water, but 1 or 2 is okay.
Milk is important for you as well. Drinking a low fat or skim milk is really good for you. Whole milk is good for you but it isn’t as beneficial for weight loss as low fat or skim milk. Chocolate milk is another one of those drinks that can go either way. Chocolate milk is good for you but is not necessarily good for weight loss.
What Not to Drink
There are so many thing that you should not be drinking when you are trying to loss weight and get healthier. Of course soda pop is one, but with that it includes energy drinks and teas.
Coffee is another beverage that is full of sugar, caffeine and calories that most people have trouble cutting back from. If you replace your regular coffee with decaffeinated coffee you will be able to lose the addiction you have to it.
Alcohol, in general, is not good for your health. When it comes to weight loss, alcohol is not the beverage of choice for you. Beer has a lot of calories in it. Most liquor contains calories but not an extreme amount. Once you add soda pop or juice to liquor its calorie content goes up substantially. Wines also contain calories and they should be avoided as well.
Eliminating Soda Pop is an important step in achieving Natural Weigh Loss and Health. This step will benefit you greatly when you achieve it.

I have found that if you absolutely can’t cut soda out of your diet, switching from dark soft drinks like cola to white pops like a lemon-lime drink can help. White soda generally doesn’t have the caffeine or acid content of cola. It is also easier on your teeth.
