Lupus Patients - Pay attention - the threat of cancer is very real and you do not hear about it as much as you should. I never thought it would happen to me but I developed sarcoma in my leg at 41. I was diagnosed with lupus at 31. The tumor was only found accidentally, or I might not be here to write this today. I was taking Imuran at the time, which my physicians believed contributed to the cancer's ability to progress. They had to take me off of Imuran immediately, which caused me to feel even worse.

Make sure you get regular checkups and pay attention to every aspect of your body. If it doesn't feel right, chances are it isn't. I would rather go back to the doctor repeatedly (which is how they found the cancer) than ignore a symptom and die from it.

Also, if you do develop cancer, research cancer hospitals carefully. Your local hospital might not have the best doctors or equipment to treat you.

Hello

I am a carrier of lupus, I was diagnosed early January 2005. I have since then suffered terribly and cannot even begin to tell you about my countless visits to hospital. I have gone on the remission stage. I suffer from the 3rd degree lupus as I have been told by My Doctors . I live in South Africa Pretoria and I have for almost a year now been attending to the lupus clinic in Johhanesburg every Tuesday.

Thnak you
Kind Regards
Robert
